About the Artist

Westley Nelson is a digital artist and a writer that primarily practices his skill in Game Maker and software developed by Adobe such as Photoshop and Flash Professional. He started out doodling as a kid but was introduced to Stagecast Creator at twelve years of age by his mother where he became formally acquainted with digital media. He then switched to Game Maker around a couple of years later and has used it since then where he is currently developing his game. After having studied Photoshop at Northwestern Connecticut Community College in courses taught by Susan Berg, he continues to use the medium to this day for his larger digital art projects. He purchased Flash Professional before his graduation from NCCC to advance his artistic skills and explore animation.

Nelson holds an associates degree in digital media at Northwestern Connecticut Community College and a bachelor's degree in art & art history at Eastern Connecticut State University. He spends much of his time outside of working part-time studying the world around him to gain a better understanding of what it is like, writing and planning out the direction of his game series in the making, occasionally teaching himself how to sing, and contributes to three wikis on FANDOM where he gives back to its community with skills that involves organization and applying his studies. Header Photo by Alexander Bobrov from Pexels.
