Writing Experience
Writing and studying literature is Nelson's second passion besides digital media for he has practiced the skill long before his artistic knowledge improved as he progressed through college. Reading comprehension was difficult for Nelson in elementary school, but his understanding of the technique began to improve when his English teachers in middle and high school nurtured his skill and since he last took English 102 at NCCC, he began taking his writing skills seriously by reading between the lines in his favorite stories and theorizing what they represent. Nelson occasionally still writes for his own amusement whenever he is not channeling the skill toward his studies and Heliotrope Journey. On this page is a list of his writing that have appeared in publications.
The Fast-Forward Present to a Bright Future
Greatness awaits those who hold on tight.
Our hardest goals to follow is like enduring the winter's frostbite.
It is wise to laugh and smile with friends along the way.
Never have such amazing friendships resume to make my day.
Giddy is the first thought that comes to mind in the present moment.
Urban life soon awaits me because time is flying by too fast.
Pleasant experiences that are in the now will soon be things of the past.
